Masashi Tashiro Although Masashi Tashiro was born in Saga Prefecture on August 31, 1956, where there was the parents' house of his mother, his parents divorced soon after his birth because his father, a manager of a cabaret chain, ran away with another woman. His mother allegedly brought him up while she did the night business. He was always left with a landlord, he hated being said "You are pitiful" because of it and took to acting cheerfully and courageously. He seems to have become a child who pretend not to care at all although he can't help being lonely in his heart. In April, 1961, he and his family moved to Tokyo and entered the missionary kindergarten. He entered Toyama elementary school in Shinjuku in April, 1963 and he lived with his mother together in Hyakunincho, Shinjuku. His mother remarried when he was thirteen year old which he entered Okubo junior high school in April, 1969. It was said that he lived on three for the time being. However, he was decided to undergo entrance into a school of higher grade to a private high school and decided to live with his father for the reason of not wanting to trouble his mother and a second marriage's partner of her financially anymore.
His father also remarried but he couldn't become attached to a second marriage's partner of his father and it was said that he began to go bad. While he loved going to watch the movies and often frequented a movie theather in Shinjuku, it was just then that he acquired drinking the liquor, smoking and sniffing paint thinner. He was made to change to a junior high school in Suginami Ward on the way because of his poor conduct.
In 1972, he entered machine studies at Shibaura Institute of Technology Senior High School after graduating from Nakase junior high school in March of the same year. At the very beginning of entrance to school, he met Masayuki Suzuki, who Tashiro formed band Chanels later together, first at the same high school. Tashiro was a considerable delinquent in those days, but Suzuki was a more delinquent boy than him.
The two became great friends because each other loved soul music. It was said that he was often entertained with a meal in Suzuki's home because he didn't want to go home.
He allegedly did a quarrel, motorcycle gang acts, goint to a disco and going girl-hunting in his student life every day. He has been detained in the police station because he caused a case of bodily injury. He met his present wife at the end of his first year at high school.
