Tyne Daly (born February 21, 1946) is an American stage and screen actress. She is best known for her performances on the television series Cagney & Lacey and Judging Amy.
She appeared as Inspector Harry Callahan's partner Kate Moore in the Dirty Harry film The Enforcer (1976).
She studied at Brandeis University and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Daly won several Emmy Awards for her work on Cagney & Lacey and Christy, and she won a Tony Award for Gypsy. She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
