General Description
The 5 of Pentacles is the card of crisis, deprivation, and insecurity. It stands for the bottlenecks in life in which we see ourselves as being pitiful, unlucky, deserted, and sometimes really wretched. At the same time, it is usually less the herald of true losses and material defeats, but it shows that we have an insecure basis and are afraid that the shaky ground beneath our feet could give way. It stands for the tight spot that lies in every growth crisis when we give up a familiar area of stability in order to turn to new and greater challenges, which also have their share of risks.
