Hearth and home.
The Queen of Wands embodies the feminine power of the fire element. She therefore stands for self-confidence, self-determination, for a catlike grace, the expression of her intelligence, and last but not least, the ability to be flexible. The Queen of Wands is open, strong-willed, and full of initiative. Her pride gives her great inner strength and power, but also makes her sensitive to criticism, refused recognition, or admiration. She represents the desire for life and the affirmation of it to such a high degree that it could degenerate to an intoxicated lust for pleasure and boundless extravagance. Her theatrical talent and zesty sense of passion let her be the queen of drama, most clearly expressed in the image of Carmen.
