ASH The first mortal created by Odin, Vili and Ve, the first three gods. Ash was formed from a piece of wood that the young gods found floating in the sea, at the beginning of Creation. Another piece of wood, floating side by side with that which became Ash, the gods changed into a woman, and called her Embla.
