TAWISCARA The Huron spirit of evil, Tawiscarawas one of the twin grandsons of the moon, the other being Ioskeha. Fighting againsthis brother for supremacy, Tawiscara could only find a wild rose as a weapon, while Ioskeha used the horns of a wild stag, and so drove off the evil spirit.
