TYCHE
 The  goddess  of luck and chance, Tyche (also calledFortuna) was a daughter  of  Zeus, and  sister to the Moerae. She was believed to haveguided  the  careers  of  men, whether  for  good or bad. She was often represented  aswinged, with her eyes bound, and holding a double rudder in her hands, to steer the livesof men through one of two courses. She was  also  depicted  standing  on  a ball or awheel, to show that luck rolls this way and that, beyond the control ofmen.
